Breast size vs Intellect

The topic is, entertainment versus breasts.
No, wait, breast size versus intellect.

I was watching House on Tivo just now. House makes the comment, "Her breasts are bigger than Cameron's, meaning Cameron was smarter."

And I wondered.

Is there a correlation? I've heard this joke for years, but never gave it any credence whatsoever. There is apparently a direct correlation between breast size and sex.

“There is a direct correlation between breast and chest size and sexual activity,” says the opening passage of “Sex: Why Some People Have More of it than Others.”

“Men will not admit that breast size is so important to them. Nor are most of them even aware of it,” says Bulgarian researcher Willa R. Lornstonvck, author of the article. “They will list dozens of other factors — both physical and psychological. “But when you look at what they do, rather than what they say, our research data indicates that breast size is the one factor that really counts.” The article appeared in the monthly journal, Extrapolations on The Human Animal.

Still, what about breast size and intellect?

Women with bigger breasts found to be smarter

A STUDY conducted in the United States showed that women with big breasts are not necessarily less intelligent than those who are less endowed. Quoting a Singapore newspaper article, Sin Chew Daily said women with bigger breasts were found to be smarter instead. It said the study was conducted in Chicago to find out whether the size of a woman’s bust affected her brain power. The study, involving 1,200 women, was conducted by a female researcher. The subjects were divided into five groups, from extra small to extra big. The report said it was possible such women were smarter due to the higher level of female hormones that could result in better development in the brain. [The Star/Asia News Network]

I do think its ignoring one thing and this has been proved, not just about women with large breasts but about attractive people in general, and therefore, certainly in our culture, true about women with bigger breasts as well.

When you grow up attractive, especially with attractive breasts (and even more, if also of body, overall), you tend to get treated better. If you get treated better, you have less of a need to use your intellect more. Turn it around, if you are unattractive, you need more intellect to get to the same place as an attractive person.

What this says, is not that larger breast size (or a more attractive body) makes you more intelligent, or lets you become more intelligent; rather it says that you will most likely BE less intelligent and that, this, is patently unprovable. But most likely true.

Is this a problem? An issue? Something to be concerned about? Not really. But its good to be aware of things, isn't it?
