What a week we're into now...

I warned years ago about his psychopathology, as his niece Mary Trump has warned, could expand out into the nationalist Republican Party, and turn into a personality cult, with the icing on the cake being Christian nationalism. The failed assassination attempt Saturday and last night's Republican National Committee's convention shows us a no longer "GOP", not any longer a "Grand Old Party", not Pres. Lincoln's party, not Ronald Reagan's part but a religious-oriented cult of an ill-minded personality.

We are in a serious situation if you haven't noticed. POTUS 45 proved that. There is more to come.

By the way, I've repeatedly reviewed the footage and Trump turning his head had nothing to do with the bullet. In fact, it's possible had Trump not moved he wouldn't have had his ear clipped at all. The shooter missed by a couple of inches. This nonsense about moving his head saved his life is myth-building.

 I said this within the hour of his being nicked by the bullet and knew this was going to happen. One older female Trump attendee said on camera that moving his head saved him and I knew the media and Trump people would pick up on the nonsense and run with it. The myth grows...

We now know the bullet didn't hit Trump at all, playing it up that he was hit by any bullet. I was right that the bullets missed: Donald Trump Reportedly Hit By Glass Shards During Shooting At Pennsylvania Rally, President Biden Reacts | Atlanta Daily World Another periodical headline stated: "...haters call shooting a hoax". No, police SAID.

According to law enforcement, a bullet hit a teleprompter and Trump was grazed by glass shards. So the video going around with a computer showing how Trump turned his head and saved himself, as I'd said, is incorrect. I had said maybe he turned his head INTO a bullet, but nope, nada, not at all. Boy did he play it up with that massive white ear target or bandage on his ear at the RNCcon. I hear not at al playing golf though. This guy, I tell ya...

Update: Snopes says it was a bullet but their proof is lame. I need to see more like intact teleprompters after the shots which I can't find and may have been shattered with the first or succeeding wild shots fired. So it's still up in the air in my book, for now.

OK this sure adds credence to the glass hit Trump not a bullet theory. I do not see where it looks altered. Or not...

I just noticed it does look "photoshopped". I checked and it's not photoshopped but I was looking at the chip. I went back to look at the bigger area and well, the stand is messed up and not even aligned as if someone did it as a joke and not a serious effort. Which would be a good Trump camp thing to do to discredit this theory.

It's hard to view the RNC Convention this week, see all those thousands of people and just stare at them in wonder. HOW, can you support someone like Donald Trump? How are you not seeing what I'm seeing? How can you look at Biden and see exactly those things, where they do not exist and yet, think the same about me viewing Trump.

Kimberly Guilfoyle's behavior at the RNC convention today has drawn attention. Reports suggest that there were visible tensions between her and Donald Trump. I'll give you a possibility. Donald Trump is a narcissist. 

He's been under serious stress. He nearly lost his life two days ago. That means a manic kind of elation followed by a burnout. Then a feeling of a loss of control, esp., for a coward such as Trump. Don't let his fist pumps after an assassination attempt fool you. Donald Trump IS a coward. He's also a performer. Narcissism trumps fear every time. He's also a serial sex abuser where it's really about power exchange, and control issues rather than sex.

I don't doubt he thinks his son's wife to be is attractive. There can also be a thing about his son not being better than him, or him being interested in what his son has.

Donald is into humiliation. Humiliating others. THAT is not conjecture. We've ALL seen him do that to others, even world leaders. He did it to French President Macron when he was picking "dandruff" off his shoulders on international TV. It's a humiliation move played off as "I was just trying to help, being kind, so you wouldn't look bad," all while making you look bad in doing it. 

Macron was a master in handling Trump by just laughing it off. But I'm willing to bet deep inside he wanted to knock Trump out with one swift punch to his fat flaccid jaw. Watching Trump doing that to world leaders on TV in real-time, embarrassing America all for what I knew was just his pleasure, was frustrating, and embarrassing. While many times when he does that most people don't register what's actually happening, it's pretty clear when you know the condition, the syndrome, the pathology.

Trump uses handshakes in the same way. Jerking people into him, not letting go for an unreasonable time. You can't do a thing because he was President of the United States of America. But it's abuse, pure and simple. Humiliation. Power exchanging with an unwilling partner. And it's petty. Extremely petty. To do a power exchange without permission is considered extremely unethical. In the right situation, it can get you killed. But not if you're surrounded by Secret Service and you are POTUS.

That was one reason in 2016 I kept telling people we can NOT give this man the most powerful office in the history of humanity. That mentality bleeds over into other areas. Like during a pandemic. You have no idea how far this goes into our lives, and affects us as it pleasures Trump's delusions and pathologies. Why do you think his niece Mary Trump is so disgusted by him? She KNOWS. 

You do not want to re-elect Donald Trump to ANY public office ever again.

I've seen men do this control thing with women that is bizarre. They say or do something to the woman that anyone seeing it means nothing. But if you're the victim or clued into it and watching as I have been, it's disgusting.

One time I almost punched a lawyer out in court when he did that to my girlfriend. Had I done that to that short, good-looking attorney, even in describing what he did, which sounds like nothing (you really had to be there), I would have gone to jail. You cannot explain it. 

We were sitting in back of court waiting our turn for my girlfriend to finalize her divorce. She was in the process of a divorce when I met her. We were on a bench like a church pew. I was in the middle. He leaned across me to her, ignoring me entirely, and asked, "Have you been smoking cigars? I smell cigar smoke. I thought it was coming from you." She recoiled and said, "No, of course I haven't been smoking cigars." "Oh, OK, I thought maybe you had, but I thought, that would be strange." Then he sat back like nothing happened.

I looked at my very attractive girlfriend, dressed up for cour. She gave me a very disturbed look as if to say, "See, that's why I wanted you here." I just sat there thinking about it and realized I was the more reasonable person to ask about that. But he avoided me. It was about getting to her. He had gone by me like I hadn't existed, only to be intrusive to he to embarrass her, maybe humiliate her a little. That was when it sunk it what he was doing. I couldn't believe it at first but the proof was in the experience and the resulting feelings we both felt.

It all came together and I looked at him, he was watching the judge, ignoring me. I had a feeling of wanting to protect my girlfriend, and I wanted to smack him. I realized I felt like something had been taken from me too. He had gotten us both in one effort. Why? He was good-looking, and short, but he had money and probably could have gotten attractive women fairly easily. He had everything it would seem. What would make him act like this?

I realized there had to be something wrong with me. Perasonality-wise, or mentally? I pushed down the urge to hit him, that wouldn't do any of us any good. But so he just gets away with it? And he's probably done it before. Probably does this all the time. I'll never forget it. 

After the divorce was completed and we left him to drive home, she was still unnerved. I told her she'd never have to see him again. But it creeped her out for days. That's the effect. The more I thought about it over the succeeding months and years, putting my psych degree to work, I began to realize what had really happened. And that there really was something wrong with that lawyer. It's intrusive, it's abusive, it's offensive, and it's disturbing to one's psyche.

Like I said, innocuous but damaging. Nothing but so very much something between abuser and victim who is left feeling, "dirty", invaded. A little broken. 

Trump is a master at that kind of thing. Narcissists are. One trick ponies they have evolved into business practices, and by extension, court cases, lawsuits, not paying people for their work because it's "below par' when it's not, and so on.

But it left my girlfriend that day feeling victimized and gross. Disgusted, emotionally abused. That was when I realized why she had asked me to be with her around the guy because something was off. And I saw it clearly in that moment. I couldn't believe it. He did it right in front of me. Just a few words spoken. But he had achieved his goal.

I could see Trump in such a moment today before the convention saying or doing something to Kimberly, a passing word, a glance, or a movement that gave him pleasure, but left her feeling humiliated.

That would fully explain her demeanor toward him. And it wouldn't surprise me if Putin did things like that also. Or Kim Jong Un. Trump would gravitate to men like that. And he does...

Trump, who has set HIMSELF up for attack since day 1, It actually does NOT require being a nutter in this case as there actually ARE rational considerations involved that are NOT difficult to find or consider.
The only arguments against this kind of thing are:
1) regardless of how hard Republicans try against this, we ARE America with a peaceful transfer of power after elections.
2) Murder is generally considered bad (though technical this is assassination).
3) A nation cannot stand for a leader or former leader being killed.
Putting all that aside, however, there are sane and moral reasons regarding Trump in all this which question a need for mental issues regarding his potential mechanized demise.
As it turns out, however, Trump was only slightly damaged by flying glass debris from a teleprompter when the would-be assassin missed his shot completely.

Podcast for the day podcast “Pod Save world “ episode, “Is prosecuting presidents a good idea?"


The podcast for the day is having a very good discussion on prosecuting presidency next president and they said there’s two kinds of countries who do prosecute. Like France or South Korea. Who is the healthy form of democracy and holding power accountable. Maybe had we held previous presidents accountable, Nixon, or like Reagan screwing Jimmy Carter on the 1980 election over hostages in Iran, and so on, maybe we wouldn’t be here today.

Now they’re talking about when you have a president that has so many charges against them... I’ve seen this before. It’s the old adage about, "Kill one person it's murder. Kill 1000 you get a medal." Perhaps because ""The death of one man is a tragedy. The death of millions is a statistic." But as they say, support for Trump, as in the pro-Trump protest this past week were in the 10s of people. I think we have our ad. We're certainly approaching the point I said we'd get to years ago, that Trump supporters would stop supporting him in action and elections, but might still support him in their words...simply because they cannot face who they truly have become, and what they have done. I never expected to hear an apology from MAGA supporters because that’s who they are. And that’s how they got to where they got to. Because if they weren’t like that, Trump wouldn't be an issue. Myself, I admit when I'm wrong, I come out about it and try to be correct. When I’m wrong, I will admit it because as a culture we need that. As a person once needs that for one's own character. My character to me, is far more important than other's image of me. If everyone was like that, Trump would’ve never happened and this ridiculously bizzrre MAGA Republican Party would never have evolved into the insanity they have evolved into.

Now they’re talking about China and Russia and a Ukraine and Russia 12 point peace plan. How about they just end the damn war? Russia leaves and China and other countries agree to help Russia. And Ukraine, obviously. But Putin has to leave power. He could even have amnesty. Even though he really needs to die by polonium poisoning. Within a year would be reasonable. Though I'm sure we wouldn’t put that in a peace plan.

President Xi of China and Putin have met 39 times over their career?

Apparently in 2021, when the Indians and the Chinese were going at it, they're saying on the podcast, apparently they went at it with bats with nails driving int them. America gave India intelligence on Chinese troop movement, which pissed off the Chinese. Which isn’t apparently helping our current situation.

Maybe we need to find a way to cripple Chinese and Iranian (and obviously, Russian) economies, and then offer to help them? Or maybe not.

So, still working on our streaming network, ThrlzTV. We're uploading more movies every day. Some very interesting ones. One investor I'm told just said some of the movies we have he can't seem to find anywhere else. Lots of oddities and fun stuff. We just started something we've wanted to do, planned to do, actually. Only two films in it right now but we have plans for more. Plans to shoot some films ourselves, or eventually to fund producing them. 

Right now in our "Thrilz Exculusives" category there's only two. Indie director Kelly Hughes' film, "It's Not The House It's My Mother": "After a childhood spent in a mental hospital, a young woman returns home. A doctor uses unconventional therapy to help the woman unlock the mystery of her past, unknowingly unleashing an evil force created by the mother years before."

And an award winning  film I made based on a true crime I wrote a horror story about years ago, that I had learend about in my abnormal psyche class at Western Washington University toward earning my psychology degree. The short horror story is, "Gumdrop City" (it's an audiobook, an ebook, and in a book). 

It's also the second movie in that category on Thrilz now: "Gumdrop", a short horror (as with Kelly's film, if you can't watch it it's because you need a subscription, but you can see the poster, anyway). We will be adding more filmmakers indie movies as time goes on.

There's a short I shot previous to this film, "The Rapping" (think Edgar Allen Poe, not music). I used a piece in this film. I thought I might put that up also. It's kind of cool to see a piece like that. If you've ever seen a film where they made a short to show on a TV in the film, and wanted to see the rest of that short, this is that kind of situation. It's only eight minutes long. 

I shot it as a test to see if I could do it. Figured I could, and I did. But it laid the groundwork for getting back into film. Which led to "Gumdrop" and some awards. Which led to "Pvt. Ravel's Bolero" which led to many more awards. I'll probably put that up on the service at some point in our "Thirlz Exclusives" category of films you can't see anywhere else..

So, you're up to date on that.

Now, this is a great podcast from Thursday, last.

Anyway the podcast is taking an aside, talking about shows to watch. Dan says he's gotten into watching Liaison. Hey, I just started watching that, on Apple+. He said it's like The Bureau, they're trying to claim some of that feeling. I watched that too. Liked it very much. Then Jon said he's watching "Shrinking". Love that show too! With Harrison Ford. Who said he liked it and watned to do it because the dialog was some of the best writing he's ever seen. 

Moving on, now they're pointing out the differences between Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis, and their running for POTUS in 2024.

I know I know, it’s ludicrous to think that either of these clowns would run for president (or worse, get elected), but you may be surprised by this… Donald Trump actually WAS president... for Four Years!
Impeached twice however, so...

I know I know… Amazing, right? But what are you gonna do? Some peoples children. Right? There’s just no comprehending how such a weak person is, as so many “strongmen“ are, or how people can’t see that at all.

I see, when I look at Donald Trump, as a weak man, a pathetic man, a very sad man, and a man whose family is very sad because of him, and very sad in the public eye. At least those of us who have an eye that is open, those of us who aren’t shortsighted, those of us who can see reality.

It doesn’t make me special that I can see this. Most of America is like that.

It’s just that we thought democracy was forever. Albeit after we’ve been told for hundreds of years that you have to fight for it every day. Gee, who knew? Who knew that history, philosophy, and wise people all through history should be listened to?

Remember Winston Churchill‘s quote about democracy? “Democracy is the worst form of government – except for all the others that have been tried.” 

You may see a lot of other forms of government you like, but the only one that’s been proven to actually work is democracy. You know, without all the murder and serious civil rights abuses like genocide.

I know I know, it’s looked highly defective at times because of people complaining about it... for their own wealth and power. Especially of late on the Republican side. But...that’s what toxic capitalism does when you get yourself in a position where you allow people to make laws which fertilize toxic capitalism. 

When you allow those in power to rule as they wish, more than we would wish to allow, because we forget about how important it is, and how important it is to monitor and fight for it. 

Guess what? It really appears to be really important!

Trump, Conservatives, GOP & Conduct Disorder with ODD

Something just occurred to me about the current bizarreness of the cohort of the conservative and Republican party.

I have a university degree in psychology, so I started searching on the comorbid psychopathology of conservatism and found this research on Dimensions of Oppositional Defiant Disorder as Predictors of Depression and Conduct Disorder in Preadolescent Girls.

Oddly enough, it fits.

Have We Loved Him Enough?

What I realized was that this cohort of conservative Republicans were damaged, had been for years. In 2009 they knew it, in 2013 they knew it and they did NOTHING about it to FIX it. They put together a group to do an autopsy on what was wrong with them. 

Both times, they ignored and and pushed on until finally... 

Along comes Donald Trump. A predator, who saw a dysfunctional GOP and then moved on them knowing he could get away with abusing an already dysfunctional group, grabbed control of their dysfunction and emotions, AS WE'VE ALL SEEN, and so, here we are today. 

I mean, how does that NOT explain the situation we find our government in today? It fully does. Even to the point of them having daddy issues, an anti authority orientation (hating government) with an adoration and desire for being told what to do by a truly dumb autocrat.

So yes, these conservativse and Republicans are basically Trump loving dysfunctional teenage girls. with ODD, conduct disorder, and depression.

It's only a matter of time for the suicide.

My Twitter feed has updates now that Pres. Trump is in the hospital and no, he gets no slack. He nearly begged for this infection and easily 100,000 Americans are dead from his malfeasance in handling this COVID-19 pandemic. 

I guess my hiatus is over after the ludicrous performance of "Pres." Donald Trump last night, losing so badly to Vice President Joe Biden. There is no more time for rationalizing, "Oh Trump didn't mean THAT." Or explaining off, or being polite, or whatever that keeps Trump in office He has to go. NOW! With all due and extreme prejudice. 

Where are the Republican party? The new Putin & Trump Populist Party? Where are Congressional Republicans? Where are the Trump supporters claiming to be American? BE American! 

 I have only one thing to say.

25th Amendment NOW! Donald Trump needs to be removed from Office. There is no time for an election. An election has been made moot at this point by Trump's own actions and words.

"Proud Boys, stand back and stand by," Trump said at the debate, knowing full well what it means. No, it wasn't misspoken, as Trump tries to wrangle it the day after. 

Trump thinks Pretty boys, poor boys, proud or whatever are for some reason BOYS and to be sure they are immature and racists, bigots, domestic terrorists, are associated with police across the nation. 

To be sure, police officers have been fired for association with this hate group, white supremacist group of boys, so labeled by the FBI.

It is MOST definitely time for Donald Trump to be removed from office for reasons of incompetence and an inability to fulfill the duties of his office. 

New York Times, Thomas Friedman: "Trump sent a warning. Let's Take it seriously."

"I can't say this any more clearly. Our democracy is in terrible danger -- more danger than it has been since the Civil War, more danger than after Pearl Harbor, more danger than during the Cuban missile crisis and more danger than during Watergate. 

"[W]hen extremists go all the way and moderates just go away, the system can break. And it will break I saw it happen.

"I would like to think that such a thing could not happen in America. I'd like to think that...but I am very, very worried."

Will Democrats have to go to vote in November, armed to the teeth? How did this come to be? Donald Trump, MADE this happen! 

Weill Trump suddenly comes down with COVID-19 to reap the benefit in an election he is losing to seek compassion? It's not beyond him to pull something last minute in this election. Probably a few stunts. Probably very sleazy stunts. 

UPDATE 10/2/20: Donald Trump and wife Melania have tested positive after aide Hope HIcks did. And so, does the charade go on? 

Donald Trump is inviting both foreign and domestic enemies into his camp. This is not America!

25th Amendment - Section 4:

"Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President."

Enough of this man in the Oval Office abusing America, murdering Americans from purposely fumbling the COVID-19 pandemic, and so much more. Even Putin, who helped put him into the presidency, is tired of Trump now. Still supporting him only for purposes of fracturing this country.

It is time.

Psychology of Avoiding Hate

Sen. Corey Booker said he understands that "people want an enemy." Donald Trump cannot survive without one and will create one whenever, and wherever none exists for him. But the psychology of hate points out to us, we're just hurting ourselves. And in this case, our country. America has a lot of healing to do.

I do not hate Donald Trump, or Republicans, or conservatives, or anyone, or anybody like Trump who sets themselves us to be an enemy. WHICH HE DOES. I never have. Not since childhood when my grandmother reacted negatively against my saying I hated someone, who was obviously a bad person.

It's what I appreciate so much about Buddhism. And about Aikido... where there are no enemies, only partners, not even opponents. All situations are merely learning and teaching situations.

Harmony, blending. Oneness. And America needs that more than ever. Here, and now.

It's why many years ago, perhaps the last time I had a street fight, when at one final point I threw the guy down. Hard. Even then I was growing beyond my Karate training, searching for something like Aikido, which I did not find until many years later. After military service, and in my first year of college.

As Aikido says, one "throws the world" at someone if they do not cease. Which is not an invocation, but a comment on an action after the fact. Meaning, it is not advocating harm, but commenting on, a description of... what happens.

Yet when my temporary training partner, whom I did not know, who had attacked me on the streetside, saw that he was possibly going to die as he went down there on the concrete sidewalk, in a split-second decision, I grabbed him and stopped his head from mortally slamming onto what was almost his plane of death.

He was stunned. As I helped him upright he asked me, "Why did you do that?" "Because," I told him, "this wasn't my idea. I never wished you harm, never wanted to hurt you. Or anyone. I certainly didn't want to kill you."

And as such, I am indeed unsupportive of Donald Trump's ignominy, his devisiveness, his vanity, stupidity, greed, and vapid self-interest. Not because I hate him, nor does that make me hate his ideals, his people, his supporters. Because I've seen what he has done to this country, purposefully dividing us to gain power for himself. I'm disgusted, and confused as to why his supporters cannot see that in him. It's kind of...bizarre.

Donald Trump has subverted all our GOP for his own ends, for it is all our GOP, even if you are not a REpublican. It's is an American political party, not an anti America one. At least it wasn't, until now. Until it because, forced into being, a Donald Trump Party, a populist party.

It is not a party anymore of Republicans, or for all Americans. Or even that subgroup any longer. Parties and people should have differences, but they need to work together for solutions. As was intended. For the common goals For the good of the whole.

While Donald Trump is doing the opposite. Just as the GOP has been striving to do now for some time before him. But Trump has ruled it far beyond the pale, now.

Now it is Win, at all costs! "Our" beliefs or none!

And that is not how America was ever meant to be. We are meant to work together, separately, not separately, apart. That, is a broken government and that, is what we have today. And it was purposely done by conservatives. Note extremist anti tax nut Grover Norquist's quote of his wishing to shrink the American government small enough to "drown it in a bathtub." More clearly:

How is that a useful thing?

Looking from the other side, my opposition (yes, opposition, because they have designed this to have no blending, no working together), is because I see fundamental flaws in conservatism as practiced today in America. Because I can see quite clearly that Donald Trump has been incapable of being president.

As his niece Mary Trump has said in her book, Trump's character is too flawed for the presidency of THIS country. Maybe a banana republic has he has been trying to turn America into. A petty dictatorship, with a vain and petty despot as its destructive illiberal leader.

A country so diverse such as ours, albeit still not as cohesive as it should be. And now during the Trump administration, purposefully divided against ourselves.

People seem no longer to understand the difference between American Citizens and "the Other". Those so typically a looked down upon as minority, economically disadvantaged, or anyone of a different race or religion...or opinion, than theirs.

They can not seem to understand religion, as it long has been in America, should be and is a personal thing. One that belongs in their heart, not forced onto others. Not forced into the forefront of our government, or all through our government and governmental leadership.

A concern even our Founding Fathers were worried about.

To be sure, practice your beliefs, share your beliefs to those interested. Just stop forcing them onto others. Stop abusing others, no matter who you are, or who they are.

We are all Americans here. In most cases, even those not legally American citizens as they have that desire to be one. And that means something!

As the saying goes be careful. We don't know who we may abuse on our way up, as later on, on their way up, they may be watching US  on our way down. So be kind, for your own sake, if not simply for the greater good. We never know what the future may hold.

Especially if you are in OUR government or in our police forces. Ask yourself in that consideration, why police "Forces" and not "Peace Officers" as it should be and not disingenuously.

We need to reconsider our overall mindset on so very many things. We need to adjust our priorities which have for so long been warped by money, greed, corporations and profiteering.

We have gotten off the path and do not even know what path we are on anymore.

Republicans have for too long said they were concerned with the long term, yet seem only to actually worry about the short term, and short term profits.

If you are a part of our government, or are voting for our future in an election, then try, just TRY, to not consider only yourself first and foremost. "America First", as it is proposed...is a lie. An destructive abrogation of reality.

America is not about greed or selfishness. It's about all of US. Together. Not divided. And ANYONE trying to divide us, should be seen as suspect.

Just as Donald Trump is, and has been.

E Pluribus Unum: "Out of many, one." The original and real motto of the United States of America.

"In God We Trust", has done little more than to divide us since so foolishly adopted by the U.S. Congress in 1956 during our fervid and fevered anti-communist phase. A conservative knee jerk reaction to fear and conservatives forces are truly only useful in the short term, in an emergency. To pull back, slow down, lock up, and then get back to normal as soon as possible.

Rather than what we're seeing in making it a national mainstay and a new paty for America. One that will see America destroyed.

If you do really want America to be great, this is how we have to do it. Together. Not divided.

But even in the nonsense and destructiveness of today's authoritarian orientation, do I hate these people for the dark cloud they have forced upon us?

Still? No.

Because to do so would be to play into their hands,  and the hands of our enemies. And it will extend their stay in the forefront of our minds nad in the power we have acceded to them.

And that has got to stop. And it will. It inevitably will. It's just a matter of time. Of how much time we wish to accede to them.

My hope is that it will be short lived. And not an abomination such as we are seeing now in Vladimir Putin in Russia.

Because we are America. And we should not wish to become Russia. Especially when what most Russians want is not to be Russia, but an "America". But not American. A FREE Russia. Just as we need to be a FREE America.

And stop this nonsense.

Hate no one. Just strive for good. Good for US all.

First, pandemic. Please be safe and wear your masks, social distancing. As we open America, medical experts STILL ask people to just wear masks and continue to social distance. Masks are to protect mostly others, from you. So be a good citizen, suffer a little for what may save a life.

George Floyd, love and condolences to his family and loved ones and those so affected by his death and the state of this issue overall. Black Lives Matter national and international protest, please be safe. Protest. But do what you can to stop criminals, bad actors, false flag cretins (Proud (girly) Boys, White supremacist bad actors, and so on.

Antifa and anarchists are for the most part peaceful socially conscious people. All groups have some bad actors. But these are not terrorists as Pres. Trump claims, or his right-wing bad actors like to target them as a whipping post.

Don't we have enough with a pandemic, without murdering our citizens? And all during a historic space launching of the successful NASA SpaceX Dragon to the ISS. Congrats to all involved!

Understand, America...is a country. Tough thing to understand for some, I know.

Definition of country: a nation with its own government, occupying a particular territory.

OK. Nation: a large body of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular country or territory.

Except, America is a unique experiment. A mixed salad of cultures brought together by a common belief in freedom and potential, safety from abuse by others and by dictatorships or royal decrees. Equality.

America is a group. Of people, not just separated individuals.

And the GOP hates that and works against it. And so it continues to be a fundamentally flawed ideology and organization that in the end supports power and money. Preferably of individuals. Meaning, the few, the powerful, the elites. I've said for years that modern American conservatism is defective.

They tend purposely to lose the forest for the trees, focusing on the minuscule and blowing them up, to distract, obfuscate, eventually making it propaganda.

They have convinced those most harmed by this to continue to believe in it, regardless. And they really hate this being pointed out to them. But, how else does one deprogram this?

It's brilliant really. To get your victims to fight for you, loudly, whenever they can and profess to lay down their life for you. Not for themselves.

IS Fake News the Problem? Not Really.

It occurs to me, who cries all the time about the MSM and Fake News? It's from the right, right? I don't seem to have that problem, fewer progressives seem to have that problem.
What's up?

Education? Ted Cruz went to Harvard. but a college education doesn't make you smart or aware or educated. I've met those types. Also, you can pick up an agenda, filters, limited considerations, closed minds. Sounds pretty conservative oriented.

What got me thinking about this just was, just, thinking about it. Wondering, how can conservatives have such a tough time getting accurate news from the MSM? Why does so much to them seem fake?

Well, they've been told to think that way. They have a news network hammering them about it. A POTUS who hammers them about it. Their culture buys into it. And they seek it out and call it out.

Problem that occurred to me was this. When I used to study international Sate covert activities, espionage, and how that world works, they don't have such a difficult time of it.

Honestly, if I was able to research spies and their lies and find the truth, you can't watch MSM and garner reality from it? REALLY? Look, our intelligence community does this on a daily basis almost without thinking. JUST think about how they must view all this whining about fake news. Not to mention the hard-working journalists who acutely do a good job, work so very hard to do so and then you simply lump them into, Fake News? That's just....embarrassing.

Why do conservatives? Or progressives who do for that matter.

DON'T watch a single news source dummy! Main Stream Media are Fake in your opinion, so you only watch Fox News? What? WHO does that? No, not watch Fox News, but finds something distasteful so locks themselves in an intellectual closest and ignores the rest of reality! Sure you should check the MSM for validity. Yes, they are wrong at times. Yes, they may even tell lies. Fox News doesn't?

Please. But you take the time, make the effort to see if it's true, or if your people are wrong. THAT'S what an educated person does. But they don't just cry FAKE NEWS unless they have a marked agenda. And that's what we have here with an entire political party following it. The left rebels against it, the right is offended and the Russians join in and voila! Polarized society and a breaking down of America.

It appears to me to be a limitation on their parts. I like Rachel Maddow. She will set you up with a history of an issue, then tell you the issue, and you can see what's up and the surrounding issues. Yes, she can go a tad liberal at times. But I can see that clearly when she does it and she usually makes it clear. If you're paying attention.

Times like that, I note it and move on. But she's not fake news. Now, much of Fox News is fake. But conservatives don't see them as fake news. Why? Well, their culture, their president, and their belief system (cognitive dissonance).

The problem is that people don't pay attention, don't take the time to think, don't survey news, NEVER listen to one source. ALWAYS vet your info, it's not even that hard. SEE/HEAR when your sources go off track.

In researching covert ops that aren't available to the public, many of them are. By getting disparate sources, you can even when one source lies, uncover the truth.

It's not THAT hard, but it takes getting used to it. TO be sure it's easier and cathartic to yell, Fake News, move on, listen to YOUR pundits, and claim... KNOWLEDGE!

Uh-huh. Right pal.

My point? FAKE NEWS isn't the issue. People who scream fake news are. The facts are there. You just have to be able to recognize them, without cognitive dissonance, without buying into lies, especially when they so well and pleasantly fit YOUR agenda. Or when your leaders or pundits are telling you what to believe.

TRUST BUT VERIFY. There is NO need to be paranoid. But you have to put some effort into your assimilation of the facts and know facts from opinions, and lies.

And? When you find YOUR team is lying most of the time?

Stop being a Republican. Stop having a conservative mind. Those are generally speaking, closed off forms of thought, by definition, and by design.. Add in religion, it's like fuel to the fire. Conservatism is a form of government to limit things, not expand. To retard, not grow. By it's nature it is about austerity and isolationism, not wealth (for all, stop being so limited) and openness.

It's far more conducive to acquiring wealth and power, also. But in good ways, by being inclusive, where the strength is.

Same goes for political parties. And the one most closely resembling what he refers to here is the Republican party with their confused evangelical Christians. 

Open your mind. Learn. Expend effort. Survey information and news. Never use ONE news source. Talk or listen to your opponents. Pay attention to your pundits and heroes and question when they go off track.

Perhaps the current forms of progressiveness aren't perfect either. But they are in part a reaction to conservatism, which has led the way in many cases in pushing agendas out of fear and a dislike for change, a love of status quos. Which, status quos, require change even to maintain. So much of that is counter intuitive, which is frustrating to the conservative mind.

Overall, we just have to pay attention. And if we can't. Well, then Republican party is waiting with open arms, and you can go on whining disingenuously about Fake News with all your new friends.

Should we blame Trump for the damages by coronavirus?

Uh, yeah? Pretty much! With great prejudice and appropriateness.

Why? OK, look...

It's long been known that Trump has considered his re-election has much to do with the economy. So should we blame him for this market crashing and economic shrinking JP Morgan say is inevitable, as well as COVID-19 hitting America, even though Trump says it won't?

Abso-fucking-lutely!

Yes, we should blame Donald John Trump for all that is bad that comes from this coronavirus pandemic. Yes indeed. But, what you ask?

Look, Trump has depended on the Obama economy to claim it as his own success. He and his supporters ludicrously claim it's Trump's bumbling and mumbling extremely bad management and his appointees, many of whom he has fired and replaced, fired and replaced, fearful of anything but "acting" appointees because he knows not what he does in his shotgun management style, which is a bad manager's way of managing.

Whenever I've seen Trump's miserably poor guessing as action, management style in a boss, a manager, or in a CEO, I got away from them ASAP, or found them to be soon replaced. Too often with a golden parachute, an advancement, or no repercussions except to the damages to the company they leave, in our rampantly out of control style of capitalism in America.

Trump has relied on Russian interference in our elections to get him elected. He found it so useful, he has asked Russia for it again, has denied it was Russia at all.

Trump has asked for China to do the same and help him get re-elected.

He has depended for decades on Russian crime money, the Russian mafia, the criminal Deutchebank money laundering entity, his own Russian money laundering properties, and Russian Oligarchs as well as American Kleptocrats to maintain his incredibly bad management and "business" style and his bullying and criminal mob-style orientation to "succeed".

Trump has depended on his "The Apprentice" make-believe "Donald Trump", the "great manager", the "great businessman", both vast lies, as his entity to prop him up to become POTUS.

Trump has consistently relied on made-up or outside entities to get him into the White House. Let's just hope he doesn't stay there.

So YES, we need to blame him for Coronavirus, for shutdowns, for the market crashing, for the economy shrinking, or a recession and he should reap those benefits in losing this election and being denigrated by the media until he crawls under the rock from when he emerged.

And all those he has brought out into the light with him, also need to slink away into history. Steve Nenuchin for instance, who was instrumental in people losing their homes in the 2008 financial debacle as well as others in the Trump administration.

In this sense, COVID-19, sad as any deaths may be and are coming to America, could be our Godsend in ridding America of Donald John Trump. Finally. Yes, it may take an "Act of God", because, in the style and wild claims of too many ridiculous American Christian leaders, God may indeed be pissed at us, for a Pres. Trump. And all the anti-Christian actions he has perpetrated upon us.

Even aside from all that, we cannot listen to a Pres. Trump who lies to us over and over, over three years, with over 16,000 lies. Bizarrely, literally every time he spoke. Now during a disaster or pandemic, we're supposed to believe he's suddenly telling the truth?

Really?

Not to mention, Trump has rotated some of the worst people to head administration, agencies, and departments, until he got the very worst of the worst, who will roll over without question and do whatever he wants.

So we're not just getting the worst people, we're getting all of them.
