Then returned in 84-85 to the new Video which replaced Posters. Then moved to Tower Video Seattle. We had a lot of military customers.
Nice to hear from you again. :) JZ Murdockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04366296091345604149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-370182032693696367.post-23900818752820945782021-12-10T15:09:50.204-08:002021-12-10T15:09:50.204-08:00I know this is an old post, but what years did you...I know this is an old post, but what years did you work at Tower Posters and Records in Tacoma. I was a soldier at Fort Lewis from 1979 - 1982, and me and my buddies would frequent the two fairly often. We used to get a kick out of trying to figure out how the various "smoking devices" were used that were for sale in Tower Posters.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-370182032693696367.post-86394599876286173212017-06-11T12:02:23.177-07:002017-06-11T12:02:23.177-07:00Nice Post and m happy to see this post.Nice Post and m happy to see this post.Gold Cuphttp://goldcup2017live.usnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-370182032693696367.post-34379233465688553302013-01-16T16:27:47.972-08:002013-01-16T16:27:47.972-08:00In that first picture of QARS-88, that's eithe...In that first picture of QARS-88, that's either Bob Akin or Steve Potter standing by the counter.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-370182032693696367.post-46123919291884245352012-12-13T21:57:05.625-08:002012-12-13T21:57:05.625-08:00Yes, indeed. If not, you might find some people that you may want to reconnect with.

Take care, and have a great year ahead!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-370182032693696367.post-29871644775850265312012-12-13T18:03:31.597-08:002012-12-13T18:03:31.597-08:00Thanks Traci. I hadn't talked to Rose for a while and Liz didn't really want to talk much about it.
I appreciate the comments. Not a week goes by that I don't realize I miss them being there to talk to. I still run into Kevo online almost daily. He's the one that called me to let me know when Liz passed on. I was stunned to say the least. It's nice to know that so many of us are still doing well. :) Cheers! Have a great Christmas and holiday.JZ Murdockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04366296091345604149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-370182032693696367.post-38973333258549408962012-12-13T16:10:56.192-08:002012-12-13T16:10:56.192-08:00Actually, Ray left the OK Hotel in Seattle with fo...Actually, Ray left the OK Hotel in Seattle with four unidentified people that he met there. He went missing for two weeks (his story was on the local news). He was discovered in Elliot Bay. No serious investigation ever took place and no charges were ever filed.

While Rose and Liz did have a falling out and never again were as close as they once were, they were on speaking terms at the time of Rose's death. I'm glad for that.

I spent every day with Rose, either on the phone or in person (usually both)in the latter years of her life. We had a 21 year friendship, and one that touched me deeply. There is no one else that can fill the void that her death left.

I still talk to Liz's ex-husband, Kevo, who now lives in London. They remained exceptionally close throughout Liz's life.

Some of the dearest people I know came from my Tower Records career. I worked there from 1986 to 1993. Later I became a rep for Ryko Distribution, where Tower became clients. Lots of memories, some great, some not so great, but the former certainly outweighed the latter.

Thank you for putting this blog together. It's nice to see the homage paid to such lovely ladies.

Traci Kelly

P.S. The photo is, indeed, of Mother Love Bone. :-)
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
